The Federal Work-Study Program is a federally-funded program that provides part-time employment opportunities in various offices on campus 和 in the community to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need based on the results of the Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA).  Students are paid at an hourly rate (typically minimum wage), 和 receive their paycheck monthly for hours worked in the previous month.  Federal Work-Study funds will not be credited directly to a student’s 十大菠菜靠谱平台的大学 student account. Students interested are encouraged to complete a 联邦工作研究 Application.

Work-Study eligibility is determined each year as a result of early submission of the FAFSA 和 a student’s financial need.  Funding levels 和 the number of positions are limited, therefore positions are not guaranteed to all eligible applicants or from one year to the next.  Recipients must agree to work the hours required by these positions.  The award amounts are typically made to allow you to work a maximum of 5 hours a week.  Work schedules 和 positions are determined each semester, 和 are planned around the student’s class schedule. Priority consideration during the initial awarding period is given to day students who complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1 和 who indicate on the FAFSA an interest in completing work-study.
